Oops, the above wasn't meant to be a quote, ha. Except for this: My starting plan is to actively post content to my website which i share via FB, Youtube, and Twitter. One new piece of unique advise or educational content per week.

Again - This is pretty much how I handle it. And I agree with the comments about who FB targets - which I feel means it kind of helps to be a little more personal in your FB content. I find it helps to connect with the older crowd to add a little bit of yourself into the content aimed at them.

I think the best way to advertise something is Instagram because that's where most people sit and surf. I personally have a company of my own and since I promote it on Instagram, I have started to have even more sales, but this is not about my company. If you are wondering how to start making money on Instagram, I can explain how I succeeded. In the beginning, I made the site and I was active and always add new posts. After that I ordered a large number of likes because the more popular you are, the more money you make. After a while, I started to make very good money and I'm glad I started something like that.

I know I'm a bit of a broken record with this, but I get all my business by referral. They are high close, and free. It took some work and learning, but there is nothing else that I am aware of that is less expensive (free) and has a higher close rate. Oh, and they tend to retain very well also.

I was averaging 3 referrals per sales appointment. Now it's almost 4 as I continue to get better and implement new techniques.

But hey, you go ahead and instayoutwitfacechatgrambook all you want. Don't let me stop you.

Hey buddy, keep it clean. It's not that kind of forum.

By the way, in all seriousness, I really enjoyed your interview with Claude Whitacre. I've "watched" it several times, and forwarded it to dozens of people.

You didn't watch it on YouTube did you?

Because if you did, it sux.

.

For those of us who need to spend their time selling rather than playing on social, how are you using social?

I play on social all the time. 90% of my clients come from social media. I have retained them all for the past few years. Social Media works if you know how to use them.

Run a likes campaign in Facebook is affordable and you get people to like your product and you, those become your leads to sell to. Works!
