Bing... Bong... Google

Whats up with Bing? I know they are dumping buckets full of jingle with marketing but they have always(MSN) been bottom feeder search engine.... No More????

Tracking trends: I rank page one position 5 for my main keyword... page one for others, but nothing pulls like my primary... With Bing, page one position 2 or 3 for my secondary keyword, primary is page 2 position 2.... OK here is the deal

Google pulled 10 organic from primary term yesterday. Total of 17 when u consider the minor keywords, Bing yanked in 5 searches.... 5!! and that was The secondary keyword

Over the last week bing has started pulling traffic and getting half the number of google, yahoo i get about 1 a day.... WHY is Bing now a major player? What do they look for? I know the tricks with Google and how to rank, what is the majic tricks with Bing?

I can only speculate what would happen if I was page one top of fold with my primary keyword with Bing

BTW, Im bottom of page one for secondary keyword on google and get very little

Reason? Windows 7 Operating System, What do you think the default browser is?

Second, Follow Google Standards, Incorporate Web 2.0 Authority in your Mix.

Takes Bing longer for your results to appear. It will only get better.

From what little I know about 2.0...one of the keys is being interactive. That is...engage your visitor with participation technique. Some of the stuff, such as fresh content should come natural.

Has nothing to do with being interactive, that would be more along the lines of Social Networking Sites, Facebook, Twitter, Which I have found little use for what I do.

Its about using the Power and Authority of Social Bookmarking Sites! Google knows these sites are updated with "New" Content everyday, and they Trust these authority sites.

Its all about Having "Authority Sites" VOTES linking back correctly with your Targeted Keyword Phrase to your related content. "Anchor Text"

I guess by now everyone knows Bing is going to power Yahoo. Seems like by the end of the year, If you get traffic from Bing I would think it should triple.

Chumps, the principles for optimization remain pretty much the same. But different SERP layout for Google and Bing make optimization strategies to be planned differently.
