Blitz in Nashville, TN Mon-Fri

I completely understand your point. There was an agent in KY and in Nashville that backed out of the lead order right before they started coming in. Once he backed out, there was several leads that continued to flow in that we are on the hook for. Me and some very close agents of mine decided to do a quick get away and go up there and work some of them. I sent out an email and dinged about it to everyone. Matt reached out and let me know he wanted to come also. So it serves two purposes...get leads sold instead of getting stuck with them (at a discount of course) and also getting to train any agents that want to show up. I don't do blitzes much at all anymore unless it is to save myself from having some leads roll up to me or if Brad needs me to go clear out an area for him like we did on the Louisiana blitz. I am still up here and have 11 appointments tomorrow, but I am ready to get back home to those babies. I have a new one that will be here in the next 2-3 weeks, so I was trying to hurry and get this out of the way.

I understand and that makes sense regarding the leads situation. After this week in Tennessee you will go back home thinking those Mississippians are real cosmopolitans...

Congratulations on the up coming birth of your new baby!

It sounds like a well organized selling trip for both work and play. It would be nice to see someone post the numbers that were actually produced by each agent attending.

man it got to be hot down there. hell its 95 here in Michigan today. big blitz little blitz it would be nice to see the numbers. just to give us an idea on how the group as a whole does.

btw you've had some good posts as of late. lots of good all around info.

I did 3588 on 6 applications.

Replaced two American General policies.

Another agent did just shy of 3k

Had one agent riding with me to train all week.

Had another agent that couldn't get going til the last day and did 850 (had some personal stuff come up and mess his week up)

Had one agent that went through my training the past 3 weeks and this was his first week in the field alone. I think he did 3400 for the week. But now he is back home and his first set of weekly DM just came in. He will do great at this.

As far as my posts.....the 20th was 9 months without alchohol. I don't get involved in the junior high games on here anymore. Strictly business (learning and teaching).

I might pick up some yo-yo tricks :)

sounds like it was a worthwhile trip. everybody made some money and I am sure they had some fun.

if your serious about yo yos there are some good sites on the internet. good starter yoyos are available at yomega. they run specials from time to time where you can get $30 yo yos for about 12 bucks. if you don't know what your doing start out with the yomega brain. its great for kids in elementary school. Short strings etc. And I am not implying your short or anything like that!

lol good luck

btw when you go to a place out of town for a blitz, do you call and schedule appointments or just cold call?

I set appointments. New agents get to watch me set up my day live while there. Was not on the phone more than 20 minutes any night.

Was a weird week though. Appointments wasn't going as expected, but every night i make out my schedule and i always add in door knocks. I do this and treat them as an appointment in my mind. 5 out of 6 applications came from door knocks.

Congrats on the 9 month accomplishment. Old habits die hard. After 11 years, there are still times I crave a cigarette,

Yep, 11 years and 8 days for me. I don't have the urge as often as I used to, but I still get them. Every now and then I still catch myself reaching in my shirt pocket for a cigarette.

I'll add a congrats on staying dry for 9 months Ben, and congrats on the upcoming addition to your family.:)
