I completely understand your point. There was an agent in KY and in Nashville that backed out of the lead order right before they started coming in. Once he backed out, there was several leads that continued to flow in that we are on the hook for. Me and some very close agents of mine decided to do a quick get away and go up there and work some of them. I sent out an email and dinged about it to everyone. Matt reached out and let me know he wanted to come also. So it serves two purposes...get leads sold instead of getting stuck with them (at a discount of course) and also getting to train any agents that want to show up. I don't do blitzes much at all anymore unless it is to save myself from having some leads roll up to me or if Brad needs me to go clear out an area for him like we did on the Louisiana blitz. I am still up here and have 11 appointments tomorrow, but I am ready to get back home to those babies. I have a new one that will be here in the next 2-3 weeks, so I was trying to hurry and get this out of the way.
I understand and that makes sense regarding the leads situation. After this week in Tennessee you will go back home thinking those Mississippians are real cosmopolitans...
Congratulations on the up coming birth of your new baby!
