Buy Term And Invest The Difference

" Buy Term and invest the difference "

If this has been such a wonderful idea why is no one doing so. It all comes down to one word, DISCLPINE.

Why is our savings rate negative? Only one word, DISCLPINE. Why is our nation at an all time low when it comes to net worth? DISCLPINE.

So why should you buy whole life? Only one word DISCLPINE. Whole life forces you to save. As we can tell by our nations average savings rate many need to be forced to save. Whole life will help an undisciplined person to save.

All many ever talk about is ideas that never work in the real world.

" Buy Term and invest the difference "

In the real world is is " buy term and waste the difference. "
So do you have any undisciplined clients? If so tell them about a plan that will make them save.

Why cant you just have clients set up an IRA with their banks that automatically withdraws money from their account every week?

Bottom line, if you buy a UL, what happens when you need the money. You can take a withdrawal which will reduce your Death Benefit, or you can take a loan that has to be repaid. So all that money you had built up, is not really yours when you want it, it comes to you at a penalty.

haha. That's so true!
I worked on Wall Street for 25 years. Whole Life is the ONLY way to go! "No way in Hell can the avg American invest the difference." Anytime I see so called professionals say this it confirms how much more I know. Look at Medicaid - 50 million people on it! Besides, Investors get confident after years of making money only to have one investment wipe them out. Seen it many times oh soo many times..... Everyone loses at some point in time and the only question is When do they leave the tables... Until its all gone? Seen that too.

If you sell Whole Life remember you are making a commitment that will be harder to break (Cash Value) and thus you will be forcing your clients to pass on wealth to the family dynasty. Now that's what Whole Life is all about.. your family and preservation of wealth!

Those that know stock Options can compare term life to shorting strangles and hoping theta wipes out any premium... that's term insurance. Eventually Term life goes to zero and you are not protected, and uncertainty kicks in or no coverage nothing zilch nada.

Now, is this what your client wants? Hold their hand and help them with abc.

:)

Great post! Everyone should read it. Whole life is a guaranteed wealth creator.

This is it.

Most people think they want term until you actually show the guaranteed premiums on the illustration after the term expires.

You don't even have to talk about cash value or its benefits. The buying decision for permanent is often made on the neat matching column of numbers under premium outlay.

What has worked many times with the "investment" debate and whole life, is these simple words.. "you can never go backwards." It changes the comparison between products almost instantly... no longer are they looking at a stock fund and a whole life plan in the same way as they were before.

Anybody who has had money invested in the last decade "knows" what can happen to a lot of investments. Having one that doesn't go backwards when the market does, has great appeal. I've seen more interest in using the PUA rider and people wanting to stick extra money into their whole life plans.

Whole life is one of the few products out there that does what it says it will when you buy it.
