CA Final Expense Plan with LTC Rider?

Hello,

I am in California and looking for a final expense plan with a Long Term care rider or benefit of some sort on it. Could be nursing home, home health care, assisted living.

What companies if any offer this in California and what is the benefit exactly?

I believe Monumental had something like this but I found them hard to work with, maybe they still have this benefit and have changed? ( had to do with tough underwriting and not answering for POS interview when in home, plus overall just difficult and slow)

Perhaps you're looking for a nursing home rider where a chunk of the death benefit can be paid in the event that the policyholder is institutionalized.

Other than that, I don't know of any plan with a true LTC rider.

Yes thats exactly what I was looking for. Where it would pay say 50% or more of the death benefit for some form of LTC, whether it be nursing, assisted living or Home health care.
