Can FE be a Good Career for Lazy, Unmotivated Post-Milennialls?

Either join the military or go knock doors for solar, or home security sales organization. That will straighten him out!

Or let the 18 year old kid be an 18 year old kid.

I joined the Army right out of high school and was Medically Discharged 3 months later. I spent the next 2 years in and out of the hospital and in a colostomy bag until I was 20.

I bounced around to jobs too, probably until I was 25. Then I met the right girl that was supportive enough to put me in my place.

All your job is after they turn 18 is to be supportive without being taken advantage of. He's an adult. He'll find his way.

I do agree that removing the supports will help him grow up faster. If that's something his parents want to do, then great.

Otherwise, mind your own business.

not a chance ig you know where he'd make it.
I'd say a stint in the Army or Air Force would do him or her a world of good!
