CIGNA's Full Court Press

Seems pretty random to me, I had a guy that was a 95% rate up for BCBST turn into a 25% with Cigna. They tend to deal with BMI only better than my other carriers for some reason.

BMI is such an ass-backward measure that it's ridiculous.

I'm 6'1 and 225 so by BMI I'm obese with BlueCross with a 36 inch waist.

The 95% rate up with BCBST I got was on a 6'4 guy that weighs 290 with a 40 inch waist. I told them to expect 25-50%. Was honestly pretty confused when it came back at 95%, never seen BCBST underwrite anything that poorly.

BMI is stupid.

Don't lie to us Chumps. The draft hasn't been used in 30 years. We have an all volunteer army now.

Technically by the BMI chart I'm supposed to get to like 170 to be in the normal range, which is physically impossible for me. I can get down to around 185-190 if I run 4 miles a day and eat nothing but protein and whole grains, and have no alcohol or sugars ever.

I get sick of the wii fit telling me I'm fat and saying ouch when I step on it.
