Citizens (CICA)

Lots of key points here.

Should companies mail out the policy a few days after it's issued ?
After the policy draft's successfully?

Shouldn't agent websites be 1 click after logging in to the agent's business? Effective and pay to dates ? Face and monthly premiums ? List beneficiaries?

Why do companies make it so difficult to manage our business ?

Because they can. And they are frickin clueless.

Wrote an American Memorial on 09/12 1st draft 10/03. Client called today has not received the policy.

Learned from CS they do not mail out the policy until after it drafts.

Do you find that acceptable?

Isn't getting the policy in the hands of the insured expeditiously one of the most important parts of our business?

I do not like that. I much prefer to have the policy in the person's hand before they ever pay. But more and more are going to not sending. KSKJ has gone back to not sending unless the draft is within a week. For example, I wrote a KSKJ yesterday that is to draft on the 21st. I was able to print it today and will have it to her before she pays.

If it was not like that it wouldn't be available until draft date. Like another KSKJ I wrote yesterday doesn't draft until Nov 3. I won't be able to print that policy until Nov 3.

I don't like it but they don't care what I like.

CICA doesn't send policies until who knows when. But they have been sending them to me by PDF when I ask. I've printed and delivered 5 CICA policies this week.

It doesn't matter if I find it acceptable. My choice is to write them or not.

I agree,it's part of the sale, acting in good faith to deliver the product.

Client who bought, gave their personal information to an agent shouldn't be wondering for days "when will I receive my policy ?"

GW uses priority mail. I've written on Monday and seen them have it by Wednesday.

CO's do that because they don't want to spend money when i bet 10% of policy's are free looked or nsf first draft . I see Lumico axed De billing due to poor persistency . Not many CO's left doing de.

I deliver most policies.

I've only written one GW and they mailed it to me.

I recently wrote a couple who both had DE. Mr was Trans preferred and Mrs was GI GW.
Needless to say the Trans made it the GW only made 1 premium.

Must be really expensive for companies to set up SS billing?

True SS billing a must !

With Trans would dump Easy Solution and offer GI instead.
