Cold Calling!

Does anyone use or know of a reliable source for tele leads or cold calling from a list of names?? The tele leads Im using are good, but are very inconsistent & I cant count on them when I need them...and I wanna take my biz to the next level! Im also looking into say buying a list of names & having someone cold call to generate leads, either 1?

They need to be reliable & good....also, any cold calling scripts are welcome.

Yes, I do have a list of 1000 names right now from him I havent used yet.....but I need an exp'd person to call now!

I've had the best success just hiring my own telemarketers. I invested a small fortune in a dialing system (the one I'll be able to sell individual seats on starting next week) that let me "look over their shoulder" by drilling down into the metrics of each call along with a bunch of other features. It's tough to find folks, but I run a bunch of ads on CL in a bunch of cities and find folks that work from home full-time telemarketing. It's a great way to get someone with experience and if you give them a simple enough script it can work pretty well.

If you want someone to cold call, DO NOT buy tele-leads.

Pay someone to cold call for you.

Make sure they use a power dialer; make sure you can record their pitch each time (power dialers often have this feature standard).

Make SURE you have a good script and your TM is using rebuttals.

Give them 20 hours to prove themselves then can them if they aren't sending you non-wood leads.

The "script" is inconsequential - pros know that the goal is to engage the prospect in conversation.

"Rebuttals" are for people selling magazine subscriptions over the phone.

Yep. I agree. I'd rather search for the "low hanging fruit" if I'm going to dial for dollars.

A script is the framework to being conversational AND advancing the conversation towards pre-qualifying the suspect.

i dont agree, the script is what will get them engaged, so it certainly helps if it is good.

Cold calling for FE is not the most efficient way to make money in this business. You will spend too much time spinning your wheels. Spend the money and buy the leads of your choice, telemarketed, press one or mailers are all better than cold calling.

The guys in this business who spend most of their time cold calling are easy to spot. They drive junk cars and look like whipped puppies with big black circles all over their face.

This business is tough enough when you have decent leads to work. Screw cold calling unless you like burning yourself out.

Im NOT trying to cold call anyone or generate my own leads....Im asking the agents here if they have a reliable source for someone or a company that does that for FE or can generate tele leads that are decent??

My source is not reliable, although the leads are pretty good...I cant get the amount I need!!

So far, it doesnt look like anyone has a source from the replies!
