Cold Calling!

Im NOT trying to cold call anyone or generate my own leads....Im asking the agents here if they have a reliable source for someone or a company that does that for FE or can generate tele leads that are decent??

My source is not reliable, although the leads are pretty good...I cant get the amount I need!!

So far, it doesnt look like anyone has a source from the replies!

If you read through all the threads on here, that is a very common theme. There are a few companies that I think have promise, but the reality is it's almost impossible to find one that will deliver consistently. The only ones that I know that have a consistent flow of leads are the ones that bring everything in-house. I'm toying with the idea of getting back into doing lead generation for folks, but I probably don't want to bother with that unless I'm getting a piece of the action vs the scraps agents want to pay for leads.

That maybe true....didnt hurt to ask!! I dont want to count on mailer leads as my only source...I dont wanna count on any 1 source!

Definitely worth asking.

You're absolutely thinking down the right track to have more than one option. Even if you're doing mail, no reason to not have to mail houses.

TDF, agree about generating enough volume, that's where the success will come from...having enough people to talk to along with your closing ratio. ( you really need 70/100 leads per month)

If you are in an area where you ran out of people to talk to through telemarketing, I would recommend hitting a town or city nearest you that would generate some volume for a while..work that area, stay in a hotel, do whatever you have to do, then revisit this area again and others once a year or more along with doing your own area. If this isn't possible then you might think about doing some apps over the phone, fed ex the apps next day air, or get a true telesales app from various companies, this way you can get telemarketing leads all over the country.
All imho, this is part of my business plan myself here in FL, but I am getting side railed, poked and prodded with MAPD :1err:

All of my leads are telemarketed leads. I usually order 25 to 30 at a time. I have no problem at all getting enough leads to work. On the average I order every three weeks. The largest area I work is Grand Rapids and when I order in that area I will work there for about 6 months. After that lenght of time you start getting duplicates and the overall lead quality just goes down. I also work the Lansing/Jackson area and work there for about 3 months at a time, which I lke cuz its much closer to home.

I think I have a tendency to work leads longer than I should. Its probably smarter to keep on the move more often and buy more often as well. Working fresh leads is when I make the most money.

This question is for JDeasy. Why is it you prefer not to work in your hometown area?
