question might be in the wrong section? its regarding the process after cold calling.

So, i've decided to try to cold calling route for a few months. I've got my headset, source for leads, excel sheet / cms to manage follow ups etc..

do you ever discuss quotation details over the phone or you will only discuss at the appointment face to face?

What if they ask you to leave them your proposal with all the carriers info?

What do you leave with them after your meeting, for when they need time to decide?
 
I've tried the "need to come in to go over it" route before, and maybe it was how I handled it, but it seemed to annoy or piss off most people. I heard "you called me, I agreed to talk to you and not hang up, & you expect me to only get information if I come to see you?" more than once.

I leave a proposal, but it only has my information on it. Could be through ABC or XYZ, and they don't know who. The agency is what they're buying.
 
yes, i feel like most will say whats the price and what coverages over the phone instead of okay you can come see me here at x and x time
