Columbian and Agents Without Morals

Monumental will move the 1st draft date no problem.

No POS interview, although they'll conduct the occasional randomized PHI when you're not there.

Despite the small cut in my pay relative to the other big FE companies, they're pretty much my go-to company.

I really like Monumental. I've been using them more and more. I make 5% less with them than RNA, but they are easy to work with and, as you said, no POS interview.

Their rates are not good enough for them to be my primary company. If AmCon had better rates I would put everybody with them. They are my favorite company to write. Even thought they have a POS interview, it's quick and painless.

If Americo and EFES didn't have that screwy deal with renewals I would make them my main company. I just can't make a company without renewals my go to company.

They ALL have their quirks. I have a death within the 1st two years right now with AmCont and it was a Kentucky replacement.

AmCOnt is telling me that their lawyers have studied the KY replacement law and it says to them that it only applies for INTERNAL replacement. I told them to take all the time contesting it they want to because it should come out fine anyway, but if they decide against paying the claim, I'm sure some lawyers that can read at better than a 3rd grade level will teach their lawyers how clearly that law is written.

Does EFES have a contract with Colorado Bankers life? I don't write for them anymore, b/c I am shifting away from FE, but I didn't have any complaints when I wrote with them.. NO POS interview.

I have a good contract with them and I NEVER write them because I have NEVER been able to get a human on the phone there. They seem very confused about how to run a business but it's been 3 years since I tried with them.

JD -- where do you see the biggest discrepancies regarding rates? They seem right up there with RNA/Foresters in some age categories.

I've always thought if your rates are within $10 or so -- and you've done a good job taking care of your client -- it's gonna take a superior salesperson to replace your policy.

$10 is a big difference to me and it sure is to the typical FE client. I replace policies all the time where i don't beat the existing policy by more than $10/mo.

I look at three rates in just about every home. RNA, Americo and Monumental. I know from those three whether to look any further.

I do like Amer Continenal as well its just their rates can be too high. No MIB and an easy pos can be very helpful. I haave had several cases where I wrote them over Foresters because of meds. Then they got better quotes and i had to go rewrtie them through Foresters., to keep their business.

I do like using Foresters because I use the member benefits as a final bullet. I go over them just breifly during the orgional presentation and if i cant close them, I apolizge for me being lazy and then go over them in detail explaining everything.

Superior rates with free member benefits. They are hard to beat. But ther service sucks. Should I be looking at Mounumental?

Everybody in the FE business should have Monumental in their bag. I have more agents writing with them than any other company. Some agents like using them simply because they don't do a phone interview. Of course, the underwriting is good too!
