Columbian FE Meeting

Whatever the requirements. Most are under $20K and there is no exam. But there are some that need an exam.

Which fu company do you use?

I find with exam, it's one more process where client can say, forget it, it's too much of hassle.

I find just the opposite. The ones with an exam are more committed. But most don't require an exam. I use mostly KSKJ, Trinity/FBL and RNA for FU but I've used others. RNA has the most predictable underwriting in my experience.

I understand your thinking but sometimes our clients see things a certain way because we see things a certain way. It 's only a big deal if we make it a big deal.

^^^ yes.

Also you CHOOSE wisely which ones you go fully underwritten with and screen out most of them who would obviously not complete the process.

Then it will be easily replaced by FU.

So would almost any of the popular FE companies with the exception of the price busters like KSKJ, Pekin and possibly SL&C. The Elite is price very favorably with RNA, Trans, UHL, LBL, etc. In most cases there is only a dollar or two difference in premium on a 10K and depending on age, Columbian is the cheaper.. Especially on female smokers.

Yeah, and you missed the point by a mile. You can't replace most of the good companies with FU because they won't qualify for FU underwriting. But the underwriting on that pretend FE from your boys is as strict as FU.

So follow along now, if they can qualify for that then they could qualify for FU.

But you are good at making an argument without facts or without knowing what you are arguing. Your fraternal ramblings are just one example.

You have never told me what I have said about fraternal is not accurate. But that is beside the point. As for CL, I have compared CL and UH and I don't see that much difference in the underwriting..Certainly not any more strict than Settlers Gold.. :) And, I can't speak to the UW for RN and Trans because I don't have their apps. But I do know I read a lot of complaints about the Trans administration.

As far as CL being "your boys", I have no great attachment to them. The only apps I have written are some referrals where people called the home office wanting coverage. Wouldn't hardly be right to accept the referrals from them and then use another company. I also have some mail pay business to administer that a friend of mine that used to write their MDO accounts transferred to me.

"So follow along now, if they can qualify for that then they could qualify for FU.". That can be said of almost any FE product out there.. Most of them are nothing but a standard WL with a table 4 rating built in. (some may have a higher table at higher premiums) So, if you take a FU application, they are going to end up issuing their FU WL plan rated up to table 4. The only difference is that you have to get the medicals, medical records, etc. instead of having a SI application.

I only started this thread to get opinions on their "new" product. Should have know that it would not take long to change from a civil discussion to name calling and attacks.
