Combining Telesales and F2F

I already have a couple consultations setup with IMOs. It's a mix of F2F and telesales.

Are there any offers that would allow me to work inbound leads on my own schedule (for a lower commission) and also allow me to work my own leads (f2f for a larger commission) or does everything have to go through one agency and maintain the same commission structure?

In real estate, your broker holds your license and he get a percentage of all business you work. Is it the same in insurance?

If you're independent you can work your business however and with whatever mix you like.

I see no advantage to putting all your eggs in one basket. :nah:

That's how I see it, but would I be able to work with a group such as NorthStar? I believe they have a non-compete, but maybe that's only for the inbound calls that they provide.
They're on my list to speak with.

the idea would be to take their calls sometimes, even for the lower commissions, and at the same time work direct mail leads under a different imo. Is that feasible or is there a conflict there?

No, NorthStar's captive and you'd be an employee. They do have a sister company that offers more than one carrier to work with and you'd have more independence..,I think they're called PPG.

Ok thanks, I appreciate the info. Is what I'm saying, generally speaking, something that can be done or is it a long shot to find a non-captive telesales agency?

If you want to do telesales, you can do it on your own...or are you wanting training?

Also, you can buy live transfer leads from places like Lead Heroes if you want to stay independent.

I'm new so I'd want some training, at least to begin.
I just figured that I would aim for a good balance of telesales and face to face. Face to face would take more time and money but would result in better commissions. Telesales would be more convenient but with lower commissions. Telesales on the days when I wasn't wanting to run appts and door knock.

I didn't realize live transfers were an option. I haven't come across many reviews of strictly lead providers that weren't negative.

Here's another option for telesales you should check out.
