So what PDP plans do we have for new commissions in 2025, two plans from Humana, three from UHC, and three from Cigna? Cany anyone verify that all of these plans are going to be commissionable? If so, seems like Cigna would be the clear leader here for low-priced plans with their Saver plan.

Ok, so looks like according to this recent posting of Cigna's PDP plan prices, their Assurance or "middle" plan isn't going to be commissionable.

By the way, if the MOOP for 2025 on these plans is capped at $2,000 which is supposed to include the deductible for the plan as well, provided the medications for clients are all on the plan's formulary, wouldn't it profit most clients to put them on the lowest-priced monthly plan premium out there??

We have heard locally from our UHC and Humana reps that we can expect to be paid on their products as we have. I'm not sure on Cigna. Their MA product locally has not been strong here in KC, so we just don't have the relationship with them that we do the others.

These Cigna premiums are all over the board.

How can Assurance plan be $0 prem in AZ, and $95 in FL ?

The prem diff between the plans is too high, and more then covers the diff between the $175 ded and $590 ded. Lowest premiums will mathematically be the go to PDP.

That's what I did this year with the cap ~ $3400. Wrote a handful with the Wellcare $0.50 plan.

WINNING!

FWIW, I don't look at commissions. If I do what is right for my client it all works out in the end.

I've read Cigna Saver is "Reduced Commission."
Anyone know what that $ figure is?

Whoever spends all their time trying to figure out how to get clients in commissionable PDPs are going to lose

There will be no doughnut hole no real intangibles, It will not be all that hard to figure out what are the best options to where you can quickly tell people what will fit them

Just need to future out do I direct them to med.gov , direct to carrier

But I def don't want to be agent of record scope and all that for a plan I am not comp,

But to save time yet keep them happy and seek to use extra time for more profitable plans is the goal

Ill keep a list of all commissioned plans that Im contracted with, and if that plan is the best for the client, great.

If there's a better plan not commissionable, I'll let them know which plan is best, then direct them to the carrier to apply.
