I think he's imaginative alright.

I'll update my argument:

For less than two grand a year my car insurance is on the hook for millions. If I go out for a drive tonight, run a red light, and end up needing legal defense that's covered 100% plus hundreds of thousands to solve the claim. On top of that, if someone hits me and they don't have insurance, my carrier is still on the hook to cover me for hundreds of thousands of dollars plus fix my car.

Riddle me this, how am I getting ripped off?

I need to change some of the stuff I am saying to.
I will scrap the idea that community insurance is a good idea but I think it could only work if it was run by the state.
When I say you are being ripped off I am overdramatising as usual. What I actually mean is that I find it unfair that a legal requirement such as car insurance has been used to make money. Even if it is not as bad as I make out they still make some money. But at the end of the day we all go to bed and we are all welcome to our own opinion. Home Insurance I can understand as people have a choice but car insurance is mandatory.

Just don't have them dragged out and shot if they say the wrong thing during the entree.
