Companies will start only hiring part time to avoid having to carry health insurance on employees.

I know of a ton of people that only work about 20 hours a week, because the company like Kroger knows that everyone is needing a job right now and if they dont give anyone more than 20 hours of work, they dont have to give them health insurance. They save a lot of money to do this.

Both my stepmother and Girlfriend jobs will only hire them part time. The manager said it was easier for the company to do it this way. Less red tape.

Other than having this struck down by the SC...this is the next best thing. Obama fought people on his side of the aisle when they were calling this a tax. Obama just passed the biggest tax increase in the history of this country in an election year. Not to mention that BHO promised to never raise taxes on families making less than $250,000 per year. This will cost him the election if Romney plays this right.

Yes, that's a no brainer, and since it has been termed a tax, at least a portion of it will be a deductible. It's a win win.

Good point - tax deductible - you know it! This will push even more employees into Obamacare - faster.

It's still the economy!!! ...and the rating agencies will soon weigh in on this. Another downgrade and our currency could become almost worthless. We could lose being the world standard. Katie bar the door!!!

So now that it is going to past, you think they will hire them full time?

Looks like the 99% will be helping the 1%. Funny how things change. Reduced healthcare cost coupled with tax breaks for corporations. Wounder if that will be on the ED show tonight? :nah::nah::nah:
