Considering Medicare

I've been in the life/annuity side for a few years but never done any medicare or anything health related. I enjoy the annuity game since it's big commissions when you close, but I don't like the feast or famine with it. I am considering medicare to create some more consistency/stability of income and to leverage as lead gen to then cross-sell annuities. For those who have been at this a while, why did you get into this side of the business and what is a realistic number of medicare clients to get in years 1, 3 and 5 if you really focus on this side of things?
