Can someone clarify if this is pretty much standard with all the FE carriers? Is it like 2 years for all? Monumental? AA? Others? Thanks.

Its 2yrs (by law) on ALL life insurance policies, FE or not makes no difference! Company doesnt matter either.

alabama has 1 year contestability clause

It's 2-years MAX nationwide. Some states have their own rules that can shorten or limit it further.
