Contract termination and commissions

I recently got a letter from my FMO dated almost a month earlier than the day I actually received the letter. In the letter it stated that my contract was terminated and that I'm not vested, and that no further commissions will be paid to me.

I have since written applications under this FMO (as I had no idea I was terminated until 3 days ago, they most likely backdated the termination because the date is right before I submitted applications for business) and they removed my access to their website so I cannot see what commissions I should have been paid, or anything else.

Is it legal for an FMO to terminate you and not pay you commissions even after you continue to submit business under that FMO?

Does the FMO get the entire commission from those sales?

This just sounds really shady, and I don't know enough about how this works. Thank you for any help!

Do everybody a favor and name the FMO.. As for the date on the termination, what was the postmark on the envelope?

American Senior Benefits is the FMO

I'm not sure of the date on the envelope, I will check and see if I have it and respond back when I get home. I know mail has been delayed, but this is too coincidental IMO.

this is why i HATE assigning anything! If i do, i consider it money i might not ever earn. My effort on that is nill
