COPD Immediate Coverage

I know I am kicking a dead horse here (probably) but is there anyone else besides Monumental that will give someone diagnosed with COPD outside of 30 months but on occasional breathing treatments and inhaler? It looks like UHL Deluxe and Settlers Silver is a go and the rate is better than Monumental. Any thoughts?

If a non-smoker, Assurity and Equitable will do it. To my knowledge UHL will not give you level with COPD.

I don't think it will be the Deluxe with UHL. If they can't answer "no" to the following question, it will be the Express Issue.

I don't know if anyone will not consider that to be continuing treatment. Many companies will do immediate for COPD if diagnosed over 2 years ago and don't take anything for it.

I picked up Monumental mainly because they will do immediate for COPD folks. Something I run into quite often in these parts.

I ran across a prospect today who had a 2 week old Monumental policy with COPD from 30 months ago. I want something in my bag to replace it at a better rate for future purposes. Isn't that the name of the game...survival of the fittest.

yep, equitable, if they are non-smokers, is immediate level death benefit... some states if smokers i think they can still do modified/graded, but not in NC

think about that she has copd, smokes and is 71, what insurance would want that risk , that has charge back written all over it

Why does that make it a chargeback risk?
