COPD Plus Insulin Dependent Diabetes

New Century Permanent Protection, A Syracuse product. It asks if one has COPD AND uses oxygen

Thanks Deadhead. I have Columbian in my basket but try not to use them as with the different companies under their umbrella I have found them to be kind of a pain to deal with at times. I will check that out.

Equitable Life & Casualty would give 1st day covg at Standard rate as long as there is no Neuropathy or other complications with the Diabetes and as long as non-smoker with COPD. Gabapentin or similar Rx are lightning rod meds for neuropathy and will get an app reduced to Graded, so be aware of that limitation with Equitable.

If the diabetes is controlled and diagnosed after 50 and no oxygen use for the COPD Columbian will take them

Deadhead:

Has Columbian changed their requirements on the New Century Permanant Protector? I am looking at an app I have and it asks the question#7. In the past 3 yrs have you hjad diabetes requireing use of insulin? No mention of of age 50? Could it be a different plan?

Thanks

You're right insulin dependent diabetes is a knockout question

Americo's Ultra Protector 2 is an option. It's level benefit here in NC & 5 or 6 other states. Check to see what it is where you live.
