I find that many people are not aware of the coming deadline for filing their BOI (Beneficial Ownership Information) report.
If you are one these you need to look into this.
That said, there are two exemptions that probably apply to you. Exemptions 12 and 13 specifically apply to insurance agents and you probably would be wise to look into it.

I've read tons of notes on this in huge Facebook insurance forums . They're all saying this does not apply to insurance agents and the filing seems to have been pushed back .

No Filing necessary as of December 26, 2024:

"On December 26, 2024, however, a different panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit issued an order vacating the Court's December 23, 2024 order granting a stay of the preliminary injunction. Accordingly, as of December 26, 2024, the injunction issued by the district court in Texas Top Cop Shop, Inc. v. Garland is in effect and reporting companies are not currently required to file beneficial ownership information with FinCEN."

Well here we are again. It's on, it's off, it's on… Last I heard was deadline January 13. Well any way it goes, exemption #13 is the the one most applicable.
