Could This Claim Go Through

I heard Obama is going to come out with property insurance that covers pre-existing damage. If you have any kind of a loss in the last 5 years, you will get paid for it, you cannot be declined, and the insurance company has to pay at least 80% of premiums in claims.

To the poster.. you can try, but their lawyers have a better definition of what "is...is". Hopefully, you can file in such a way that they think you're stupid rather than a thief.

Good luck. You'll need it. You have to figure out if the money is worth it. You'll be putting future employment on the line. Maybe a fine, maybe jail. You figure it out. This is a character test.

That would be the PPCIP program under Kathleen Sebelius
:twitchy:

Dear Thread Starter: you may have visited here because you were truly wondering what the answer to your question was, just trying to figure it out. I think you got enough responses to realize that insurance companies have all of this figured out pretty well. Their pretty smart about their business. Unfortunately, in today's divisive environment, insurance companies are vilified from the top (Obama) down, and I think it gives plenty of people the justification to lie and defraud their insurance company. After all, it's a big company right? I deserve some cash for my claim! Yes you do, if it is truly a legitimate claim. If not, no you are not entitled. Forget the "time of day" issue, again, they have that figured out.

So, forgive the agents on here that are a little skeptical of your question, or are downright cranky and rude with their responses. A lot of them have many years of experience, and have seen it all when it comes to this stuff. I don't know them personally, but it seems like most of them are pretty honest people with their client's best interest in mind (if they weren't they wouldn't be successful). That is another misconception perpetrated from the top down (again, the WH), that insurance agents are worthless individuals who suck up your premiums for nothing. Well, I would guess that most of us don't live in a mansion on Hollywood Blvd (anyone?) either. So get your renters, learn your lesson, and don't jerk the people on this forum around (I don't think you really are btw). You might get a verbal whopping from one or more of us. We're just mean that way!

This is simply beautiful...darn near brought a tear to my eye...

I beleve u. You bought ins and took ur own stuff and wanted to file a claim. By the way I can find ur I'd on this site with your information so look out I have an eye on u.

I have a client like u a thef and his son is like him. They are expert on filing claims. I have to find a way to get rid of them they are the cause of my recent high loss ratio!

So long kid.

Haha! You are really funny! If I wanted to defraud someone, I wouldn't declare it in the open. You are really stupid to think that. So keep your eye as open as you can and keep looking out.

If you did understand anything from what I said earlier you would understand that I was talking about legally using the language of the insurance contract with all the right facts and not using the wrong facts.

Also, the expert opinion I wanted, I already got it! So thanks a lot guys. Even though rude, I appreciate it!

Cheers!
