I understand your pain my brother! I don't know if you meant for that story to be as humorous as it was, but I was crying with laughter by the time I was half way through it.
This is also the same thing you get when calling medicare about any type of MA or part D for a client. Seems you always have to talk to the supervisor and still sometimes you have to educate them!! It's just ridiculous to say the least. :err:

La La Land -- Medco's Dream Team!

Just for the record, after March 2009, Joe get's a renewal commission far less then $400.00 or $200.00 per year for his pre 2009 AEP F5 client renewal. That's true even if he has over 500 net total in-force members.

Lucky for Joe his client didn't call about a stand alone PDP.

Way to go Joe! :goofy:

I never thought of this until now, but I bet LaShounda was a graduate of the 1-800-MEDICARE University.

I have a client that has a PDP plan with me with Prescription Pathway/n.k.a. PrescribaRX. She lives here in Florida but is moving to Georgia in a week. I called to verify that her coverage will be okay in Georgia. The lady told me....nope, Mrs. Client will have to get another PDP under the SEP because what she has isn't good in Georgia. I looked on the Medicare website in Georgia and sure enough the company WAS on there in Georgia. I then went on the companies website and sure enough, it's available in Georgia. I called the company back and a different lady said...yes, Mrs. Client's plan is still good in Georgia. Motto of the story...once again, it depends on who you talk to.
