COVID Deaths 90% Over Age 65

Well, those people are dying with covid. Whether they are dying OF covid is debatable.

How many of those people are obese or vitamin D deficient, or any number of other things that are preventable?

Some may have been shot by a jealous husband . . .

You make a valid point . . . and I think most, if not all, of the CV "stats" have been massaged. I also read recently that over half of CV deaths were among individuals who were vaccinated.

Before the vaccine came out, wasn't the average age of a covid death something like 89 years old with 2.6 co morbities? So how is 9 out of 10 deaths being people over 65 "news"?

My wife has severe asthma and gets a Nucala shot every month. Her condition wasn't caused by eating chicken.

I have a question about Nucala. When she goes on Medicare in April 2023 will her injections be covered by Part B or Part D?

If you have Original Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance), you have coverage for a limited number of prescription drugs under certain circumstances. Your Medicare coverage (Part B) includes some injectable drugs that are administered by a licensed medical provider who accepts assignment. It does not cover self-administered drugs.

We may have an issue. She was seeing a PA when she first started getting shots. He tried several and Nucala worked. The whole time he was giving her samples. Well he got into trouble and retired and no one knows why. She then finds out from Nucala that it has to be administered by a lung specialist. She is seeing one now but her eosinophil levels are low so how can he diagnose her when the drug is working. We shall see what Medicare has to say.
