Don't spend too much effort or get too wrapped up in it - sometimes there's not much you can say or do. Make absolutely sure that you are competing with the same product. Find the holes in the other one if you can. Try to sell them additional coverage over and above burial costs to cover bills, lost income, etc. If that doesn't work, try for a couple of referrals and move on to the next one. You can't help everyone - it's a numbers game.
