Hey guys! have anyone used data lot for live transfers? if so what were your experiences with this vendor? I'm looking for reviews and checking out ripoff reports and the BBB but I wanted to know what you guys think :)

I'm not sure how useful this is, but they spend a FORTUNE on booth space and advertising at LeadsCon. Most of the vendors there tend to work better with larger organizations vs individual agents. If you're planning on using them for final expense I'd doubt they're a good fit, but they certainly are a stable company.

it was very useful thank you! I was looking to use them for FE. what makes you think they are not a good fit for FE? I was just curious. I was going to go with another company called Sales Associate located out TX and I did the lead order and they replied back wanting me to put the money into their checking account at Bank of America and I found that to be strange AND they wouldn't return my calls or emails needless to say I didn't complete the transaction. I was going to purchase their Presets so then I ran into DATALOT.

Datalot is really geared towards larger operations so if it's just one or a few of you, probably not the right fit. I'm also not sure what their experience is with FE.

To take that a step further, companies like Lead Heroes - We hire, train & manage telemarketers so you don have to specifically work in the FE space and can give you a lot better service.

Yes, wanting money put directly into a checking account is a little strange. I think there are only two types of companies that do business that way, the first is companies moving large transactions and the second is fly by night type companies that are afraid of chargebacks. Don't get me wrong, I love it when my customers want to pay by wire transfers on anything over a grand, but I'm perfectly fine taking credit cards on transactions because I have a very low chargeback rate.

There are a few other companies on here that offer leads as well and I think your money would be better spent working with those instead of companies that don't specialize in your market.

I appreciate the link share!

To be fair, I have heard good things about data lot from other agents.

However, as previously mentioned - I don't believe their target market is the final expense market. I believe it's geared more towards term life sales (I'm sure there is some over lapping).

You're very welcome, but just to be clear, that is not my company and I don't make a dime off of you placing an order.
