People will partner with you many times in exchange for leads that they can use. If you partner with a real estate agent or a mortgage broker or anyone like that you can offer to refer any people looking to purchase a home to them. Also, if you know anyone who is looking to buy a home you could walk in the door with that lead and offer it as a peace offering, so to speak, to open up the line of communication.

Tom hit the nail on the head PLUS if you build a relationship with them; they will feel comfortable that you are taking care of their clients that, like us, they expect to get referrals and future business from.

Moonlight why are you always hating on Mark? Theres plenty of guys on here who deserve to be smacked around and I dont think he is one of them. Yes he posts all of his ideas and its a little overkill but he does help new agents and get some creativity out there. Ive spoke with him only a little and the guy truely does "serve" anyone looking for advice. What have you done for all the newbies? I dont mind some ball bustin on here but dont think he deserves it.

For me, enough that it'd be impossible for me to ever thank him enough. Still can't get him to take the credit for it, though.

Im sure he has, i dont know him at all. Just giving my opinion that Mark does good on here for most and didnt see a real reason to give him hell all the time. Anyhow happy selling everybody!

Look, let me be clear, I'm sure Mark is a nice guy, and loves his dog, kids, wife, mother, etc.
I find some of Mark's stuff beneficial, and I find some of it to be hokey and corn pone - but my opinion of his stuff is irrelevant.
My one and only issue is the continuous posting of the same stuff. It's repetitive, annoying and clutters the forum. Others have pointed it out as well. It's not necessary to post the same thing for every single newbie that comes on the board. That's why there's a search function! Some people just don't know the meaning of subtle.
