I guess I'll join in as well. We have a 6K HSA and I better not have to give it up because of the goofy President we have.

I can't believe Al hasn't tore this statement apart. We have a HSA plan as well $5850 ish deductible. We also have money, as do you (likely).
-----------------------The average no savings American I don't think a $7000 deductible HSA is reasonable and god forbid someone "plan ahead".

Right. So the alternative is what? Get a "comprehensive Cadillac plan" and pay 6 – 800 per month or have no major medical instead of the 350 we pay? IF, a major medical comes to town, we cut em a check (probably get the deductible cut in half by paying lump sum and by using in network providers … what the problem is?) Meanwhile we've saved thousands already.
To me, if you've got nothing to lose, then you figure it can only get better. They just want everyone on medicaid just like them. As an aside, had this woman call us yesterday. Her mom is 59 and can't get medicaid because her significant other owns his home ... she now has a growth on her thyroid. NOW all of a sudden her kids want to pay for an insurance plan to "take care of her." So, let's make Al3 happy and get everyone on the same, yes, lower quality of care so that we can completely remove any and all incentive to excel in this country. And let's "give" everyone a free car while we are at it.
I really can not believe what is happening right now.
