The same process (using stem cells) may show promise for Type II. Many Type II situations can be controlled thru diet, sometimes supplemented with oral meds such as Glucophage.

Of course, most if not all type II diabetes is preventable with diet & exercise.

If this will help anyone: Atkins diet (w/o exercise) will control type II hands down with rock solid readings. My wife is proof. I was amazed.

Has anybody ever checked into the costs of having a full-time cook available who can prepare meals for a small family.

No But I would really enjoyed having a cafeteria a short walk away for the 3 days mt wife was in the hospital giving birth. I told her we need someone here to cook for us when we wan it.

It would be awesome to even have a salad bar or a sandwich dressing station fully loaded with toppings in your kitchen that you had to load like once a week.
