Did you just lose your favorite fraternal?

I hear what you're saying, but when I wrote Trinity regularly, my persistency was 93%. That was the year we went to Europe in 2019. (It was great to meet you and your mother, by the way. She was a hoot.)

Conversely, one could argue that I am missing sales because I'm writing mostly lay downs with a high persistency like that. Who knows.

Do I do the the FEX presentation? Unapologetically Yes! Do I really push the premium on my clients? No. My average monthly premium is $80. I find what they can afford, but I try not to leave premium on the table either. If I do, the next card they send in may involve another agent replacing me, and gathered the premium I missed.
I wish I could say it was great meeting you as well. But I don't know who you are lol 😁 not that I wouldn't remember you. I just literally don't know who you are other than you are from Ohio obviously. But yes that was a great trip. And yes mama is a hoot.
As far as persistency all I know is mine was much higher than the rest of fex. I'm not tooting my own horn. I'm sure it would have been the same across the board if we all used the same presentation. Or close to it. I truly believe the presentation is the reason for lower persistency. My presentation is a combination of parts of travis's, parts of jd's and parts of what I learned from this guy named Micky out of Baltimore that 1st trained me, and parts of what I made up. So my presentation is a mutt. I crafted it taking nuggets from all. That travis way didn't vibe from me and I knew the second I heard it i wouldn't use it. And it was confirmed my persistency was higher and I think that is the reason why. Persistency and taken business.
I think maybe focus more on relationship and writing lowest rating carriers and then you have less worry about who is coming in after you. Instead of taking every dollar that leads to buyers remorse and these issues. We are working the lowest of poverty. It doesn't make sense to try and take every dollar.

Would that not affected all the IMOs not just FEX?

Yes, and I'm sure it affected other IMOs. My view is that persistency was the reason given but not the true reason for the termination. The opinions given of them growing too fast, aggressive underwriting and being priced 20-30% below everyone I believe is right on. How do you stop the bleeding? Terminate your biggest distributor and regroup.

And this is the exact reason why something happened here and saying this one reason is it and it's that simple isn't true. This company doesn't term their number one agency for 9 yrs over an internal issue. As rouse said this would have effected everyone. So lets at least be real with each other. Something specifically with fex happened. Either significant persistency issues or personal issues with I can only assume travis. Did travis call in all pissed off when these drafting issues? Something happened. And it's not as simple as kskj made a mistake and decided to ruin a relationship like that and in that way and not take any responsibility especially of other agencies had the same issues.
Someone is not saying something

Nah you raise rates and make underwriting more difficult. This will slow the flow down. Then you keep and don't burn relationships because who knows what the future holds. There is a bigger reason or travis's guidance failed you.

We've known for two years that they wanted to go direct to consumer, so there's that

I think that's a overblown conspiracy. Some fraternal with a wacked name isn't selling millions d2c.

But, with 2 other fraternals using icover snd releasing products up to 50k face I think there is something going on…

Can you elaborate?
Then why not just end the product or term all agents. Why specifically fex? If you are going dtc then you need to term all. Still something is missing here.
