Diminished values claims help

Josh, the same insurer was sued for $44 million in the state of Washington a few years ago for just this type of practice.

Adjuster Jack. One, I do not care about the money

Then what are you going to put on the lawsuit complaint where it says $________?

am here asking for advice is prior to contacting my counsel.

You got your advice. If the insurance company holds fast to the $2000 offer, you file suit and get one of your expert appraisers into court to testify as to why your DV is what he says it is. It's that simple.

Four of them are luxury Highline vehicle appraisers.

That you give 6 appraisals (or 60) to a claim rep is meaningless unless they can successfully testify for you in court and get you a judgment for $_________.

If you hired six reputable independent appraisers it would have cost you approximately $300 each = $1,800. If, however, you hired six cheapo $99 appraisers then you received six worthless diminished value appraisals which should have netted you nothing.

His point was if you hire an appraiser to give you a number and it's low, then you might not be in business too long because, at some level, people in that position are paying to hear what they want to hear.

How old is the car? How many miles? If it's this big of a difference (percentage wise anyway), have any of the appraisers been able to explain to you what the flaw in the insurance carriers logic and methodologies is?
