I don't need to call. I've seen them do their presentation plenty of times...it's not a part of their strategy. Why would I ask tips from someone who doesn't even follow it themselves versus those who say they do it in all their presentations? Does that make any sense to you? Because it doesn't to me. If everything is just "ask your upline" then what is the point of this forum? Anyway, John Galt has graciously offered to give me pointers on how to work it in early so I don't need anymore smart ass remarks from you. But thank you anyhow.

Agentguy is just not so subtly hinting that your upline is on the clueless side.

I would agree with him just on what you have posted. Maybe your upline is fantastic at selling FE and you just haven't communicated that?

But since it's an issue to you on them having an account you need to get it out there early. I used to just ask right after my 4 questions if they hadn't given me a sign that they have an account.

Now that everyone has an account and I lead with Trinity I don't ask. If I wasn't leading with a company that takes DE then I would clarify if they have a checking, savings or DE before I made a recommendation.

Those not willing to use their account is a different issue and I will just walk from those.

Had that happen this week. I already had her bank info and we did the phone interview and she was approved. Then she decided that she wasn't going to allow bank drafts. I gave her back her check, called Trinity and told them she wanted to withdraw the app we just did and then I left.

Apparently I had not made it clear to her that they would be drafting. I don't know why she thought I needed her bank account info if she wasn't going to allow drafting.

Then we had a discussion about it and I knew I didn't want her as a client anyway.

Agents make too big a deal out of accounts now. They all have accounts and the ones that won't use them to pay are simply not prospects.

You realize Doug, like Ben, Matt, Matt, Dave, Scott, Dave, JD and several others give away information to people like you and I everyday. Yeah, some of the information is learned from others but some was learned by expensive painful trial and error. In my case and I am guessing yours they get nothing back. No one here owes you chit. Again like me you are probably taking more than giving. Why not just say thank you instead of getting your underroos all bunched up?!?

I get it out of them before i even know who i am gonna write them with, matter of fact i now use that as somewhat of a determing factor on where i place them in conjunction with the health questions.

There is nothing wrong with asking for help on the forums, especially if your up line is not helping with a basic FE topic. Matt knows his stuff and I have seen him deal with deadbeats, in person. lol

I was simply trying to point out, in my own smart ass way, that if your trainer doesn't know how to effectively deal with one of the most basic components of FE sales without wasting an hour of time, then why are you wasting your time under them?

what Wino said^^^^^ it blows my mind the amount of info these guys post on here. Hell, Agentguy5 posted his presentation on here awhile back. luv4insurance if you would just do a little searching on here you would be amazed at the info that you can find.
