Direct Express

No oxygen on rop. They'll take chf and cancer as long as no current treatment ( But only 1 occurance ever). They'll take any type of heart issues . But here's the kicker the price . Age 65 $10k - $125.05 . Great western $92.08. BUT there never going to get past a few payments with Great western . Thats what i sell if their near GI and have a de card. They either take it or i walk.

So I recently had one with GW on a DE that went bad in month 3. It's a rewrite .

I have another piece of business in that house being paid on the same card, written the same day on another family member with Trans preferred that's billing perfectly.

Wonder why the GW policy is going bad ?

My persistency with them is way lower with them than Trans,RNA,LBL…..

Is it due to the business being GI ?

You write them and then in a month or two they get a GI mailer from Mutual of Omaha. Their rates blow most other GI plans away.. :wideeyed: just got one today.. Male age 69 is $66.00 per month.. Female $51.00 . I have about decided to follow JD's lead and if a person needs a true GI, just give them MOO's number and be on my way.

No it's due to drafting . I've written 6 or so GW the last 2 months and 3 have been De cards and still on books . But I've had issues in past . Trans faster to bank on de than any carrier .

Thats what I thought…..Physicians Mutual too.

Our people don't necessarily buy strictly off ads. They are not sure about the product and won't take action unless they sit with an agent.

I didn't sell any GI for a few years, just Bronze.

The true GI was referred to Moo. Don't think many actually were proactive and acted.

I had someone recently that has multiple policies with 1st day coverage. They called me with the Moo mailer in hand. Wife has developed dementia. I advised him to get it because I couldn't beat their offer.

I've been advised it's because of price. Because of this, many agents have moved on from AIG,Gerber,GW,to Sons Of Norway for the lowest premiums on the market for true GI.

Honestly I can't recall ever getting replaced.

Me neither.

If their billing system was built the way Trans operates theirs we would see similar persistency.

The costs for Trans standard male tobacco is as high if not higher than any product in the FE market so I really don't see price being the issue.

I am hearing GW is going to have some form of SS bill8ng by the end of the year.

It's funny you mention them . I had client call today with a new de card . GW used to let the agent change on the phone . Now they tell you to change on automated system for the client and it takes you back to customer service to confirm the date of draft and if its recurring .I'll believe ss billing when i see it . No Gi company has it .

When I called CS to do that recently, that's when I learned of the new automated system. I stayed on the phone with the insured and she entered the credit card information 4 different times and it didn't work.

I'll believe it when I see it too. They must be losing at least 20% to 30% of their biz because they don't have it,right ?

I got the info and did it myself . I like their E-App as it's easy to use . Only reason I use them is 12 month for death best in industry .I'm sure there losing a ton
