Direct Mail Cost Going Up

Announced today that starting in 2013, postal service is raising the cost on postage AGAIN by 1 cent. Rise in Direct Mail cost to follow I'm sure!

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!
What are we to do???
With a 1 cent raise, there can't be any way to stay in insurance sales, right?
If only somebody knew an amazing way to sell FE by phone! But, alas, such an amazing and unique sales system can't possibly exist...can it?

LOL. Ok...let's not try and stir up some conspiracy. It's our designation we use now. If I was trying to hide anything, do you think I would post our co letters and phone #? LOL...so let's relax a bit. An easier way to "investigate" might be to "call" the number? lol

Now...I've learned, yes, not to get into pissing matches with the ignorant on here which we know are the same 5-6 "insurance guru's"(haha). Just talk like professionals should and give good valuable information for those who come on here to actually learn and not kick dirt on the playground. As I see...not much has changed from "them".

We are doing GREAT so now's the time to actually talk facts and not assumptions.

By a whopping $10/1k. That's really going to hurt the industry I'm sure. Maybe I'll stop offering direct mail.

On a 1% return that adds $1 to the cost of each lead. Last Jan. EFES absorbed the 1 penny increase and did not pass it on to the agent. I would wager that they won't be able to do that again.
