I'd take a look at Term Life Express with Mutual of Omaha.

It's a term life insurance policy with a Disability income rider. Simplified underwriting too. Yes, it's for total disability, but some coverage is better than none.

I, too, am new to disability insurance but have sold life and health supps for the last 5-6 years. I've heard Illinois Mutual is a good carrier from a friend who once sold Aflac. Any feedback?
