Yes, I saw an old thread and replied to what I felt were obnoxious statements. Did I want an enemy for life ?? Really thought of it as my way of saying you were full of $hit. You plainly shared your thoughts of my inadequacies as a man and a parent, I get that. Now who wants to make an enemy for life?

Knowing what I know of you, from your posting in this thread, I have no doubt that you deal quite well with what you call "obnoxious." I'm sure working in your office is a real "joy" and that you are the kind of boss and agent everyone wants and looks up to.

AL: What is your fascination with these pretty girl pop ups? You have posted on this before haven't you? Essentially what I am saying (respectfully) is who cares how people market. Sex sells. Who cares.

I think that's what he's asking. Do we buy it? He's saying that he doesn't, for him trying to use sex to sell a product unrelated to sex or relationship seems manipulative to him and he browses away.

I like the bus stop ads that say "You just proved that signs work."

Um, no I didn't. I didn't call the number, did I?

Do you guys dislike the loud/intrusive "pretty girl" video that starts up on sites that sell to insurance agents (see link above.)

I seem to find more of them on insurance vendor sites than any other. Brokers Alliance used to have one but I think a lot of guys complained and they took it off.

I often have my speakers turned on as I listen to music on the computer (the new Macs have kick-butt built in speakers... don't know how they get such great sound out of a such tiny space) and I find "Welcome to XYZ where we can solve all your problems..." to be intrusive.

Is it just me?

Unless it is absolutely necessary, I never buy anything from companies who have intrusive sites, but maybe you younger agents like them?

I really do not like it, I think she is gorgeous, but for business purposes, not really. I would never have one of the "talking people" on my site. Just my opinon, some people LOVE it.

I like the simplistic and non intrusive feel of websites...

For someone who knows about this marketing ploy, it can be annoying.
