Is there any way to store doctor and RX information when comparing MAPD plans instead of redoing it constantly? I've had three conversations with the same client, and it's getting tiring.

Speaking as a consumer here.

As an agent, there comes a point when you have to tell a client no more RX pricing research.

And going forward, establish those parameters when you start the annual review process.

I have had agents firmly and definitively have that conversation with me. Parameters for agent effort were clearly established and understood by both parties. Any addition information I needed/wanted was on me, not the agent.

I don't think any of my agents over the years would have done 3 sets of PDP medication/provider research.

Refusing to look up meds (even for a second or third time) is an easy way to get a founded complaint.

search and save

I made the decision this weekend I am not meeting with drug plan clients. I am only handling through email. I have sent comparisons and told them email only and electronic applications. I am telling them to call WellCare or Cigna directly or M.gov to enroll. I am working seven days a week and usually 13 hours a day. I had to draw the line. I work for myself and I’ve never had a Medicare season like this in my entire career. I have not had any negative feedback from any client regarding my decision. I am getting back to them unlike other agents who are not even returning emails.

I will also not be taking any more new prescription drug plan only clients. We learn and we adjust. I think a lot of other agents here made the adjustment before I did. I just thought I would be able to do it, but with all of those losing medical coverage I had so many new referrals that it is replacing the premiums of the drug plans that won’t be paying me.
