Does Hair Matter?

:laugh:... I didn't even know this thread existed! Thanks for bumping 8+ yr old thread.

As those who know even a little about me... they know I have even littler hair...

I tell folks I set appointments with, "I'm six foot, bald on top, and have gray sidewalls."

Older folks find that funny and younger one's find it disarming. As much as I may complain about hair loss (only on top..), I find it one of the quickest ways to get a smile or small laugh. Learning self deprecating humor with a smile does more to relax folks than anyone could imagine. That goes a long way in building trust and making the sale.

I'm also give hugs (no comments from peanut gallery) and that goes a long way in solidification. You could call me the "bald headed huger". :wubclub:;)
A bald headed huging sellsman.

I like my hair. Glad I am turning 40 with it all still on top. Cant wait to go white and grow it hippie long!

My father died a month ago at age 88. Still had his hair. It was thin on top but there. I still have too much hair and just now starting to get enough grey in there to notice. My sons are all very happy about that. I, when it gets thin I will just buzz cut it. I do not like having to go get hair cuts now. Having to shave my head sounds like too much work.

Hey I was seriously asking someone the other day. Do bald folks lotion their heads or use any product on their head, some shine like crazy, where others look like they need help....
