Does this look totaled?

Hey all. My beautiful car was a victim of a car going through a red light and slamming into me. Does it look totaled? Anyone with experience with similar damage?

I know the damage is extensive and I am actually hoping it is totaled so that I can avoid having a car with near total loss damage. The repair shop it is currently at is telling me it's a total loss, but nothing is official until the insurance adjuster says so. The repair shop tore it down and said there is a lot of hidden damages. The adjuster is scheduled to look at it on Monday. I'm anxious and would like some opinions while I wait.

I have a tremendous amount of warnings on my Mazda app (engine malfunction, headlight system malfunction, high beam control system disabled, parking break malfunction, emergency lane keeping disabled, front radar sensor malfunction, iACTIVSENSE system malfunction, SBS and FOW systems disabled)

it's a 2023 Carbon Edition with 27k miles.

Yes i had an about the same damage on a 2 yr old car and state farm totaled it out . Matter of fact my damage looks identical to yours .I believe it the damage is 75% of the value of the car they total it . I like your was surprised they totaled it out . You have the right to buy the car at a greatly reduced amount than what they'll give you and fix it yourself. But you'll have a totaled title .

I'd say so.

In my professional Life insurance opinion, I think that is mostly cosmetic & bondo & a good coat of primer/paint should make it look much, much better

Some states dont put a salvage title on it unless the car is a "late model" vehicle. IE: Michigan only puts salvage title on cars 6 years or newer
