Does USAA Have the Best Rates

Yeah, I don't doubt that. They might have low rates, but they lack the personal relationship that an agent provides. Some people are only concerned with price, but many see the value of dealing with someone they know, like, and trust.

Then they better start walking the walk.

I have yet to find a local agent who does anything more than a call center.

In fact, I have yet to find a local independent who will return a call. Unless you are a commercial account, don't bother them. Only captives seem to want PL business, but even they offer nothing more than what a call center would do.

I'm all for using agents and local agents if you can. But there actually better be some reason beyond just shop local.

I am a Army National Guard veteran and did my 6 years of service and a few months ago I called up USAA to help with my auto insurance after seeing a commerical......needless to say, they cost more than my local hometown P&C company did!!!

Based on my experience, USAA sucks! They talk the talk about helping Soldiers, Veterans, and Enlisted, but they dang sure don't WALK THE WALK!!!

Just my experience!

 So bad experience!

In our state the autos have been hard to beat but I have on occasion been able to beat them with Progressive but the homes 97% of the time I have been able to beat the rates by half the price or better also on renters insurance. USAA is a great company but the home and renters market is not so great I have found in our state

Curious. What state are you in ?( I'm on the app so states don't show up)

I was asking you, and you responded. Thank you. I was trying to make fun of myself for not thinking about looking in the profile. The joke sort of died when put to text. Sorry for the confusion.
