Door Hangers

Have been using door hangers for a couple of years. I tag along with the neighborhood association newsletter. This newsletter is read by all because the area is so new (everybody wants to know what businesses are moving in and the progress on the parks and pools).

We hire the local boyscout troup to deliver 7000 in about 5 hours.

Don't know the ROI (not my department) But, made sense when I approved it two years ago. The newsletter and the flyer goes out quarterly and couples walk in with the darned thing in their hand.

How about driving and putting them in the mailboxes? Any law here or experiences? I would think you could cover more ground this way. It's a numbers game.

You can not place anything inside of anyone's mailbox. That is a crime in most places that I know about.

I think you can place it on the outside of the mailbox with a sticker or hang something from the flag, but you would also have to check with the laws in your state on this.

I've seen an agent get in big trouble for placing something inside of someone's mailbox.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. Not looking for trouble.

Can they site you for trespassing with the door hangers? I've been bitched at a couple of times but nothing came of it.

Mark, it is a crime everywhere in the U.S. because it is a violation of the Postal laws; i.e., it is a Federal crime.:policeman:
