Drinking Coffee...

Coffee??.. Did you close anything before you went in???

OK, sat down and thought I would give an update.

Had to reschedule a double.
Missed my second cause he was "still at the doctors office"... either he lied or it goes graded.
Went to drop of a Memorial Planning Guide, and made 3 appointments for Monday.

Didn't close... probably got closed.

Still had that cup of coffee... wish you all could have been there, we could have all had one and you could have given me a hard time for not working hard enough. ;)

that movie {Glen Cary} reminds me of the difference between the car business and the insurance business. I worked the car business for about 20 years. That is exactly how most of our meetings went. They beat the shit out of you and then expected you to feel good about yourselves and go out and sell the shit out of cars!

I left the car business after 3 years and went to Combined Insurance. There they tried the opposite approach. They had Rah Rah meetings trying to pump you up. They never threatened you with your job. They danced and sang songs like

Hit em High
Hit em low
Take their money and
GO GO GO

The funny thing is; both methods achieved the same results. 95% of the new hires didn't make it 30 days!

I worked with a guy who worked combine... used to mention all the funny songs they sung. He also did his rendition of "Selling Mabel Accident Ins.", had her out working in the yard and then "CRACK... she breaks a bone!" The guy was born for D2D. Miss working with him.

Can you imagine if Netflix did a remake of that sitcom?

First time I saw Archie Bunker I was shocked. Then I realized he was a TV persona that was almost exactly like a relative. Except the relative didn't have Archie's "soft side"

You mention D2D. If you have never seen this movie you should watch it. Bill Porter (the REAL Bill Porter) should be an inspiration for anyone who says D2D and in home sales is too difficult. Bill is no longer here but he is a true legend in the Watkins history.

I had an uncle that almost just like him.. If you knew him, you would have thought they drew Archie's character from him.

Entire movie can be seen instantly and for free on the youtubes. Course, people will have to wait until tomorrow since the games have started.
