Fox news reports that the drive to defund ObamaCare is increasingly pitting Republicans against Republicans, as some party leaders and conservative pundits claim the goal is not achievable this year -- and could irresponsibly risk a government shutdown.

Actually they are only half right. This issue is pitting Republicans vs Rhinos (republican in name only). The party is doomed unless it rediscovers its Libertarian roots.

Well my MGA never wanted it and still talks very negative, but in the same breath does not want the individual mandate delayed, it's down to a matter of survival. If you want to see thousand's of lost jobs just let them delay this thing. Not to mention I also want it to happen now.

It's a horrible law. If we don't do something now, at least try, the law will be close to impossible to repeal. I say "all in" challenge these villains.

And have future generations addicted to more subsidies!???

Rather than spend a trillion $$$ to rebuild bridges, offices, schools in far off lands, only for them to be blown up again, reposition some of it to benefit American citizens here at home. To quote a modern cliche...I'm "ALL IN".

Never said I wanted it to stay on the books in present state, I say let it go off in October, let parts or all fail and then tweak it.

It also must sadden you that some major insurer's has repositioned their selves to stay in business.

I heard Rush Limbaugh interview a Senator today (Mark?) who said that if they can't defund ObamaCare, they'll at least water it down so that it doesn't drain so much money from the budget.

Is it possible that the upcoming budget negotiations could alter the subsidy formula so that people have to pay more than 8% to 9% of their income for health insurance before the subsidy kicks in? He said that the subsidies are the biggest cost component, and they are 65% higher than the CBO estimated back in 2012.
