Efes? Suggestions?

First I ever heard of that. Not saying someone didn't tell you that but they were a dumbass if they did. That is not how EFES operates.

It didn't really make much sense to me either so i had to take a pass on that one. I don't know maybe it was just the person I talked with that time. I don't know how it is now.

When was it? I've been with EFES for 4 and a half years and it's not been like that over that period of time.

All EFES recruiters are not created equal. There was one regional director that was s severe micro manager, and that really doesn't describe him. I can believe that would pull some crap like that. He has been gone for a year and ahalf now.

I agree - your upline has access to your production through the carrier website already. This would be a red flag with this one person but not with the organization generally.

I don't remember the exact time, but I know it has to be at least one year- it might have been longer. I don't know if it's the guy you're talking about but I think I questioned that policy one too many times and never heard from anyone else.

Maybe it was just the RD or recruiter I spoke with.

I know this has been discussed but--the posts tend to wander over into sports, other issues. I need something specific and also very recent

What experience has anyone had with EFES (Equita Final Expense?)

Quality/cost of leads---Contract levels---service?

THANK YOU!!!!

It's hard to believe that one would have trouble finding info on EFES here at the forums but here goes;

My experience with EFES is very recent and long term. They have been great for me. I had a rough start with them but from about 6 months in until now it's been smooth sailing.

"Quality/cost of leads"? I don't really know how to answer the quality part. I suppose that's in the eye of the end user? They say life insurance on them. They are mailed 1st class and they a mailer to a person, not Dear Senior. People send them that are interested in life insurance. That's pretty much all you can ask. They do have this new telelead thing but it's still too early to judge. Cost is determined by what ever is agreed at the hire. After 90 days the cost is based on production. They will be from $11 each to as much as $34 each. The average was $19 each the last time I asked. That's been a while.

"Contract levels"/ That will depend on the hiring manager and what you negotiate. The more you bring to the table the higher you will start. I believe Travis Tubbs starts all agents at 90%. You can move up with production.

"Service"? In my opinion it's fantastic. You send your apps to EFES and they scrub them before sending to the companies. The office staff is great at what they do and because EFES is a volume IMO they can get things problems handled for you at the carriers.

The training is excellent. EFES university has presentations from most of their top agents that you can listen to. From doorknockers to appointment setters to presentations to persistency tips.

They a twice weekly "plug and learn" call where the top producers give tips and then answer questions. These are also archived at the university in case you can't listen live. Every manager has a weekly call with their downline. None of this is mandatory but I do notice that the top producers are the ones that makes all the calls. Can't be a coincidence.

I'm a free agent. I don't have a downline and could go anywhere for my FE business and leads. I chose EFES because I think they are the best out there.

This is only for the fulltime FE agent, though. EFES is not a place to go dabble in FE or run part time. They do have a broker program for that but do not get on the EFES lead program if you are not going to be a fulltime FE agent. Won't work for you, won't work for them.

EFES was founded and run by an agent. Eric Brennan is as good as it gets. He will always be straight up with you and the business. You may not always like it but what he says and does is how it is. The best compliment I can give anyone is that they are honorable. Eric Brennan is an honorable man.

For contracting with EFES don't put any more layers between you and the RD as possible. There are only 3 RD's. Joe C, Shannon D and Travis. Go direct to one of them if possible. If not don't put more than one person between you and the RD. May times that's worth it for the training from that person that is direct to the RD. Just don't get 3 or 4 layers away. I'm biased that Travis is the best but they have territories and you may not be able to get under Travis. I do know he has agents in Kansas.

They give you the option to just pay $400 per 1000 mailing
take that option. That is the only way you will come out.
Take the 100% commission.
