I am a licensed life and health agent but haven't sold insurance in quite a few years. I am now an instructor with a private company, and one of the classes I teach is an ethics course to insurance agents around my state. I have lots of good material about ethics, some real world examples of generalized good and bad behavior, some statistics, etc. But I'm really interested in finding some case studies I can use in a classroom environment. I'm looking for specific cases of an agent selling something (especially to senior consumers) and then disect it in a class, so that the students could look at what the ethical actions were and what the unethical actions were.
Do any of you have any examples that you can provide? I do cite my sources when I have the information. Or, does anyone know of any links to any sites that might provide them? Doesn't have to be free, but that would be nice.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
