I'm in the central valley, Modesto


Oh ok, ur in cali too! But Modesto is more like a small town, rural or midwestern town...nothing like LA. Not sure that would play well down here. But Id be satisfied with 4-5 apps EVERY week for sure....right now Im doing about 3.5apps/week, my goal is 4-5 this yr.

ya, I wouldn't make it down in your neck of the woods TD.. I like the smaller towns to work in.

Are you still buying lists or just knocking every door on a block?

I use infofree.com. See Mark on here, he had a discount code you could use. It works great for putting together your own list to door knock.

What is on the flyer you leave and have you received any calls from it?

I use this simple flyer below. It's just something to hand them to help get a conversation started. I have recieved a couple calls, but that was from people that I had talked to at the door. As far as any call backs from just leaving a flyer on the door...zero

are you still using this company for your lists? Do you get good numbers? I called them this afternoon after visiting the website and the sales person said that the unlimited lists/for $49.99 is going to end in a week. They will limit to 4,000 downloads per month if I understood her correctly.
What parameters do you use for FE and did you find the lists to be generally accurate to your filters?

I still use them, I put together a list of 200 -250 for a week of door knocking. I find the data to be pretty accurate, I use ages 50-65 and 65+, and incomes from 0-49,000. I don't know about the unlimited data ending in a week. I only door knock, so I will never use the 4000 in a month...

I would also check with Josh here on the forums. He can help you with lists..
 
Thank you for responding. Your post was helpful. I signed up this morning and ran the same parameters as you did. I received 199 days of work @ 50 knocks a day just here in my local area. I used this concept back east with lead cards of around 25 new per week and 20-30 old tired leads. I found that 50 doors a day is reasonable. I used micro-soft streets and trips to route my day. I will of course have to hit more doors by 1/3rd with a bare list as opposed to a stack of new/old lead cards. My feeling is I would much rather spend $50 per month and more foot traffic then $2500/month on cards. I can filter out the junk off the list far more cost effective then spending $25,000 a year on leads. Yours and others numbers seem to support this.
