FE Death Claim Not Paid

The story has been amended to 4 mos. Still, at the 45 day line "THAT" claim gets almost daily attention.

Only if you are a good agent.

Disclaimer: "You" in the sentence is a generic pronoun used to represent everyone, and is not directed towards any one individual.

Who is the Company? You have asked who the best company is for XXX. Give something back.

They can not do anything to you. They do not even know who you are, unless your name is 5pill.

5pill

I didn't suggest you "force" anything. Doesn't seem you can force anything in your life.

If that were my client I'd be on the damn phone once or twice a day. I'd make it my living cause. THAT IS YOUR JOB. You are their agent... work for it.

Jeebus man, I'm starting to see a habit of laziness and WIIFM.

Won't study.
Bitches about getting paid quickly.
Wants a list of the companies that pay comm checks the quickest... not a list of what cos are best for the clients.
Now you won't bash heads at the company for not paying a death claim... ain't the death claim what you sold the policy for? So it would be there when they needed it? YOU are part of that equation.

My suggestion: GET OUT OF THIS BUS.

You just moved in the same category as Yoda as far as I'm concerned.

Dude, why don't you phukkin chill along with the renard lady! Go ahead and pour you another drink, that's what you do.
People come on here to ask questions and become knowledgeable. In what way shape or form did the guy say he wasn't going to bat for his client?? Prick!

Newbies, there are these types that roam the forum hallways, watch what you read in here!!

PS If you don't like what I said Gordon..........Kiss my AZZ!:D

Maybe I mis-read him a bit, but time after time he makes statements indicating he likes the easy route.

Any agent that doesn't go ape-****-crazy on a claims dept, have detailed documentation of each call, know every person's name touching the claim, and make his name well known... is not doing their job when a claim gets that old.

I've had one claim go 60 days. The ladies at Shenandoah Life got so tired of me calling they called me the day they issued the check so I'd leave them alone.

Nice to know that I'm not the only one that operates that way.

It's just my way of dealing with things, but it does bring in more business. My wife is my assistant now, and she just shakes her head when she hears me on the phone with some of the claims people and Doctor's offices and says I hope these people know what you're doing for them. I think they do.

Not to mention that death claims can lead to great sales if handled properly.

Companies like Met and Pru both have sales teams that deliver/process death claims, thats how they generate business.

There is an art to it but once its mastered their can be a lot of money to be made.

Just came in from delivering a small claim check from Boston Mutual. Pretty clean claim. The check was lost in the mail. But I bitched enought that they Overnighted it at their expense.

Wrote a new policy on Mrs and am quoting the drunkard brother-in-law. Not a huge case. But made a quick $1,000 on a SIWL case for doing my job.
