Hello FE experts,

New agent here, and I am trying to get used to the FE companies and figuring out where to find the best coverage for these sick people I keep running into!

Male, age 60, insulin dependent(diagnosed at age 30), heart attack 7 years ago along with stent placement, pacemaker installed 5 years ago, 40 units of insulin a day.

Companies I carry are:RNA, AM CON, and Americo. Trying to see if their is anything better than AM CON modified which is what I came up with. Willing to look at other carriers if I can find one that would help. Am Con Modified is $44.58 for $7,500.

Also his wife is 49 with no health issues besides taking Keppra. Any competitive carriers that issue below age 50 besides AM CON?

Thanks,

AO

Hello, based on your info I should be able to approve on a graded plan that is $42.27 monthly for $7,500. It's ROP + 10% for 2 years. Security National is the carrier. Goto www.SNLFinalExpense.com or call 501-470-6868. Tommy Overton

While I would hate to promote them I'm pretty sure LH would do immediate benefit for him. For the wife, why not use Essential Life? You said you already have RNA.

It is a $25,000 minimum so you could use Monumental for her. Also Monumental for him but it would be at standard rates.

LH is going to modify if husband is taking a med due to his stent in last 2 years. Plus, as you know, unless you are placing enough business with them they will terminate you...they do not like part time agents (that is non-full time LH agents). I never understood that though because isn't some business better than no business?

Glad to know I'm not the only one running into diabetic after diabetic.
Went cold door knocking Saturday was a diabetic at every other door.

Hang in there AOKING

LH agents don't have to be captive?

Are you asking a question with the "?" or making a statement and putting a "?" in the statement to infer LH agents don't have to be captive so why would someone like me make the claim that I did, or are you asking if LH have to be captive? Because they don't have to be captive but you better be placing a fair amount with them or they will terminate your contract.

It was a question. I just figured they were captive and couldn't, not wouldn't sell a fairly raced product. hehe

Technically, their contract does require you to be captive, and
while their contract states their is no minimum production needed to maintain appointment the ole "Termination without cause" clause comes in handy. I have been contracted with carriers in the past where they send a letter out requesting that you send them the state appointment fee if you wish to maintain appointment. Not so with LH...termination. I still can't figure why some business would not be better than no business.:1baffled:

It also helps to get rid of agents before the become vested. If they don't get you before vesting they have to wait until your renewals fall below $250/mo to steal them. Getting rid of agent before 2 years time served let's the stealing begin immediately.
